Troubled Kid Turns Life Around
A Former Foster Child's Journey to Success
Chris Sutton's Story is One of Hope and Redemption
Chris Sutton was a troubled kid. Growing up in Coral Gables, Florida, he struggled with anger and behavioral problems. His parents, John and Susan Sutton, tried everything they could to help him, but nothing seemed to work. In 2004, after a family birthday celebration, Chris's parents made the difficult decision to place him in foster care.
Chris spent the next few years in and out of foster homes. He was often disruptive and difficult to manage. But one foster family, the Suttons, never gave up on him. They provided him with a stable and loving home, and they helped him to turn his life around.
Today, Chris is a successful young man. He is happily married and has a good job. He is also a volunteer mentor for other troubled kids. Chris's story is a testament to the power of hope and redemption. It shows that even the most troubled kids can turn their lives around with the help of caring adults.
